Today we’re going to be talking about Facebook pixel and what all the hype is about. Many of you have probably heard about facebook pixel, but you’re not quite sure what it does and if it’s important to you or not. In a nutshell, all it is, is a piece of script that you’re going to have somebody put into your website that can track when people come onto your website. Then you can go and remarket them later using targeted Facebook ads. In other words, if you were somehow able to get them onto your actual website, they leave a cookie and that tells Facebook that they’ve been there when they go to re target and market to people, you can choose those specific people who have already had an interest in your product. Now here’s the kicker. That’s great and that’s going to do a lot of good things for you if you’re doing proper facebook ads with this pixel however, it goes much deeper than this. What a lot of people fail to realize is there’s something called Google tags, which Google tag manager is a tool that can be used to manage your Facebook pixels. When you think about Pixel, we can actually take that pixel and mark out where exactly on your website they visited. Not just that they were there. We can mark out that they were looking into specific products. In other words, if somebody was on your website and was looking in the siding, we would know they’re looking in the siding section and then we can market them for siding. You wouldn’t want to market somebody for siding if they’re on your website and they were looking at roofing. Right? These are some things you’ve got to be thinking about. The same thing applies if they were looking for storm damage, we would know that they possibly had storm damage versus if they were looking on your commercial side for just knowledge and information. We want to compartmentalize all the different places that they’re looking for. We do this specifically for the purpose of getting the information they are looking for in front of them.
