Today we’re going to talk about an awesome tip on how to help your door to door salesman close more deals. For those of you, roofing companies who have the door to door salesman are awesome. We all know that this is a proven method for success in the industry. Now, there are a few things that some of you may have never thought about doing that you might be able to change. The basic results and watch them increase in their closing. One of the things I’m going to tell you about today is how to develop a video that when your door to door salesman knocks a door, he can allow that person who answers the door, that homeowner, to watch the video and sell the company while he is up inspecting the roof. So what you wanna do is you want to get the owner of your company to produce a small video in your office as well done as you possibly can. Basically what he wants to do is he wants to explain a little bit about the company. First introducing himself, but explain a little bit about the company, what you do, how long you’ve been servicing the industry, and then talk about what this person up on their roof is looking for, why they should be doing it, how it’s going to help them as a homeowner and what their takeaway should be from this information. Not necessarily asking for anything. Just kind of giving them an education on your company and showing them that you are real people and what they should be looking for to get out of this free inspection that they’re being given. Now, what that’s going to do for your guy who’s up on the roof is it’s going to instill a little bit more confidence in somebody who just answered the door a few minutes ago, is to why they should consider hearing what this guy, who is up on the roof, has to say when he comes down.
As you’re trying to help your salesmen get more tools, this is one that’s super simple. A simple Ipad that has a youtube video that is already on it, they can sit and hand to the potential customer, is going to go a really long way. Now, many may think, what’s the difference? He’s going to tell them all those things anyway. We’re going to take some of the sales portions of it out of his hands. That’s not the case. All you’re really trying to do is validate the person who’s up there. Let them see that there’s a real company behind it and it’s going to go a long way with the average everyday homeowner.
