On today’s episode of Roofing Contractor Marketing Minute, we’re going to be talking about testimonials and how they relate to your website for converting traffic. So, when we get people to our website, one of the best ways that we can get them to convert to buy our product or to fill out a form that they’re interested in our product is if during their visit to our website, they can see a testimonial. Many people have written testimonials on their website from previous clients which is good. It’s better than nothing, but another way to do this, it has a lot more trust behind it is if you can actually get a video testimonial from one of your clients explaining their experience with your company. A written testimonial may be true and accurate and come right directly from your clients written testimonials do present a bit of a situation where it could be false. A video testimonial is so much more believable because you have an actual person that’s going to explain their experience and that’s going to reflect a greatly on your company. Think about this as you’re putting together your website and how you can get some of your clients that are really happy with your company and your services to just do a quick video and it should be short even if its 15 to 30 second range would be great. If you can get a video testimonial, you’re going to have a much, much higher conversion. We see conversions up 64 percent higher than a written testimonial.
